On our way to see 46203 which was
the only engine present the Duchess of Sutherland and the two tank engines were
all out. |

BR Class 9F 92219 looking rather
sorry for itself. It was built in 1960 & withdrawn in September 1965.
After only six and a half years in service! More pictures of engines at
Woodham's scrap yard in 1983 are available on the link. |
Hmm! Interesting looking boiler,
firebox, and smokebox this! Complete with old LMS number plate before
nationalisation? And now you know as much about this piece of history as I do!
