Having uncoupled and left the train 'Repton' heads back to the shed for the evening after a hard days work.  And the lady 'fireman' gives us a wave on the way past. Filmed from the train as 45212 works hard as it tackles the long climb out of Grosmont.  If you listen carefully as the engine approaches the over-bridge you can hear the echo of the exhaust beat resounding off the bridge.
The camping coaches at Goathland.  I always asked my mother to book a holiday in a BR camping coach and she never would!  Can't understand why. It's not all fun and waving to tourists from the cab - there's the dirty heavy and horrible work needs to be done as well, even for lady firemen!  I won't mention 'firepersons'  but I suppose we could go for 'firewomen'?
