The aim of these pages is to show pictures and, video clips from the preserved, and other railways I have visited. Also included is a brief history of the railway at Perth.  I have not filled the pages full of technical facts and figures or full histories of engines or anything else.  But what I have tried to do is include links to follow where this information can be found.  The brief site description is the left of the two column and clicking on the graphic will take you to the various preserved, and other railway video clips and still photo's.  The links at the bottom of the pages are to some railway web rings.
(Please note these pages and images are on different two web hosts.  This can mean that very occasionally there are no images available.)
NB  Since the launch of Internet Explorer 7 the video sound on all the video clips on the page viewed starts automatically.  To stop this, click the 'play' and then the 'stop' button on every video clip on the page.  The video's can then be played normally.  Firefox browser users will not experience this difficulty.

The 2008 holiday in Paignton wouldn't have been complete without a including the Paignton & Dartmouth Railway (Page added 24th October 2008) Summer 2008 holiday was spent in Paignton, and of course some time was spent on the South Devon Railway.
